Since Thursday, I was not quite feeling well. Recent rapid changes in weather and fluctuation of temperature has affected my body. On Friday, I started realizing that my running nose and coughing on and off is the sign of upcoming sickness that I may have ignored unintentionally. By late Friday night, I had fever and things went from bad to worse. Luckily, I would be staying at home over the weekend and hopefully will recover before Monday morning.

My regular schedule of writing something over the weekend, sitting at the nearby cafe and sipping coffee has to be cancelled. I neither wanted to push myself too hard nor wanted to pollute the cafe with my sneeze and irritating coughing noises. So, I decided to stay at home and try out the over the counter medicine. I think it helped me a lot.

Not to mention, I slept on and off throughout the day. Not sure is that because of the medicine or its just I was too weak due to my illness. I woke up late and couldn’t find anything to do. I thought, it won’t be all that bad idea to get back to my computer and try to write something. Now, here I am, early Sunday morning pressing away my keyboard to write.

I personally do not like to share my own sufferings of any level as many might think I am trying to gain attention or sympathy. Though it has never been my intention, yet I thought of writing this just because I couldn’t find something else to write. In any case, I wish you all a nice weekend ahead. Keep me in your prayer and stay warm 🙂
