Post Graduation Planning & Some Thoughts
Yesterday was both a memorable and great day for many of us, especially for the Graduating Class of 2015 from the Baruch College. The 50th Commencement Exercise took place at the Barclay Center, Brooklyn, New York. Good friends of mine Michael, Lucy, Ambareen, brother Muktadir and his wife Selina, who also happens to be a Baruch College student also came to attend the Commencement Exercise. It was really good to see all of them coming on my Graduation day. Quite honestly, I never thought of my Graduation day would be that much exciting. Thank you everyone for being part of this special day. Special thanks goes to brother Muktadir & sister Selina. Not only for showing up but also for the Gifts and the Amazing Lunch treat.
For Michael, brother you did good job with the Camera. I was just kind of worried about your lunch experience though. I knew most of us would be alright with the Middle-Eastern food but wasn’t quite sure whether you are going to enjoy it or not. Seems like you did hahahah. Ambareen, thanks for the flowers. Lucy, you were bit late but made it on time buddy. I thank all of you guys, for you showing up and for all the good times we all had together yesterday. I am pretty sure, good 20/30 years later if I am still alive, I would definitely be smiling looking at our pictures thinking about our Good old days.
Surprising enough, I met with number of old friends yesterday. It just simply feels so good to see all those happy faces after a long time in an occasion like this. I wish you all a prosperous future and much deserved Happy life.
I am Done with My Graduation.
Now, after long five years, I am finally done with my Undergrad and I think it’s about time to look forward. Among all the things that I want to do on upcoming days, my first priority would be to find a good job. Take a little break from life and go for little vacation if possible. The are few more things on my list and getting my “Graduate Admission” is definitely one of them. Even though I did not take a serious look at this issue yet but I did my fair share of online research on this. I still remember, prior to our last day of BPL-5100 class, Prof. Elena Vidal mentioned something very important about the GRE (Graduate Record Examinations), especially for those who wants to pursue their MS or MBA afterwards. Her suggestion to take the GRE test ASAP was something that I think was particularly very important. Thank you Professor, I will definitely keep that in my mind.
All that being said, I would like to take this opportunity to say “Thank You” to my family and friends. For their endless support and love. I made it this far because of you all guys and I am not giving up. I want to go even further. Wish me luck and keep me on your prayer.
