Microsoft Office App is Now Available for Android & iOS

Microsoft introduced their mobile app called Office during their Microsoft Ignite conference last November for public preview. Thousands of people immediately rushed to try out the app and Microsoft received number of feedback from it’s users to enhance the app.

This is more like a go-to app for creating Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents from a single app. Those who are already using dedicated apps for Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be happy to know that now all the tasks can be done using this new App.

Today, Microsoft has confirmed the availability of this app for both the Andriod and iOS platform. So, starting from you today you will be able to download and use this app on your smartphone depending on the OS it’s running on.

Apart from using single app to create Word, Excel and PowerPoint contents, there few other benefits of using this Office app. Using Microsfot’s Lens technology, this app would allow users to convert images into editable Word or Excel documents, scanning PDFs and capturing whiteboards with automatic digital enhancements to make content easier to read.

Additionally, users would be able to make quick notes, signing PDFs, scanning QR codes and transferring files between devices. It’s more like combining multiple apps in a single App while down sizing the storage that it requires to be installed on your smartphones.
