If you are not paying serious attention to the robotics, may be this is the time to keep your eyes and ears open on this issue. There are some very interesting developments on robotics are taking place here in the USA. A Massachusetts based company (Boston Dynamics) is leading the way on Humanoid Robot technology.

Under the direct funding and oversight of the United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Boston Dynamics is working hard on their latest humanoid robot called “Atlas“. The company regularly posts video update of their work from their YouTube channel. On a recent video, this company demonstrated Atlas performing a backflip.

Watching a robot to walk like human is great but performing a backflip is pure eye pleasure. Unfortunately, Atlas also can walk but very slowly.
